WHAT WE DO!

 

All our facilities are purpose built premises, with excellent health and safety standards for play and outdoor fun.  All HSE approved so our families and children are assured of the highest quality and care for the little and big people in their world!!

 

We also ensure that the Government Programme guidelines of Siolta and Aistear are fully incorporated into all our age groups and facilities. Aistear covering themes such as exploring and thinking, identity and belonging, communicating and well-being, all fit beautifully into our planned daily programmes.  The Siolta Programme of 16 Standards and 12 Principles are all fully met in our buildings.

 

We encourage all the children to care for themselves, e.g. dressing and feeding skills while at the same time addressing their social, emotional, physical and learning needs.  

 

Our motto is ‘a fun place to be’ and this is reflected in all the activities that the children take part in from our babies right up to our Afterschool Club.   A happy child will always explore their world with confidence and joy and this is our goal.

 

Families that need childcare for their children from 12 months to 12 years of age, full- time, part-time, morning / afternoon, breakfast and afterschool club, summer camp or places on the government ECCE or CETS schemes can all be facilitated in one of our buildings.  This also means that should a family’s childcare needs change, as often happens, we can adapt quickly to meet their need without the child having to move provider.  This is very reassuring for the parent in times of change and super for the child.

 

Enrolment

 

We offer all year round enrolment, however this is based on availability.  We would advise all parents / guardians to contact and visit us as soon as you are aware of your needs as this allows us sufficient time to gently integrate your child into their new setting, get to know their new carers, little friends, etc.  This ensures a smooth transition for the child and family.  We believe that it is essential for the child to feel secure, relaxed and happy with us so that the rest of the family may also continue happily with their day!

 

 

Opening Hours:

We are open from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. 51 weeks a year.  We close for five working days at Christmas, Bank Holidays and Good Friday.

 

Sessional Montessori hours are 9.15 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. and 1.30 pm to 5 pm. Monday to Friday.  We operate during primary school term and close for mid-term breaks.  Should you require early drop off, after school care or cover for holidays we can provide this service. A Summer Camp operates for July and August. 

 

After school club operates Monday to Friday during school term.  We are open from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. during mid-term breaks and school holidays.  A school drop and collect  service will operate, as well as a drop and collect service from after school activities.  We are open from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. daily all year round, apart from a week at Christmas, to facilitate school holidays, mid-term breaks, etc. 5%  fee reduction for siblings.

 

Parents are asked to observe opening and closing hours carefully. There is a penalty of E10 per quarter hour for late collections.  This money is paid to the member of staff that stays to look after your child.  Should there be an emergency obviously we will do our best to facilitate parents.
